Aswathy Sreekanth is a writer, actress and television host from Kerala whose creative work moves between books and the screen. Her friendly, expressive style has helped her connect with families and Malayalam-speaking audiences in many different ways.
As a writer, she finds stories in memories, imagination and everyday life. Her books include Tta’yillatha Muttayikal and Mazhayurumbukalude Rajyam, as well as the short-story collection Kaali. Together, they show how familiar places, feelings and observations can become something meaningful on the page.
Her creative journey offers young readers a cheerful reminder: there is no single way to be a storyteller. A person can write, perform, speak and explore new ideas while carrying curiosity from one form to another. Aswathy is also known for her television work. In 2020, she received the Kerala State Television Award for Best Actress for her performance in the popular Malayalam sitcom Chakkappazham. Whether she is writing or performing, warmth, observation and communication remain at the heart of her work.
